Our Mission and Purpose
The Jasper County Food Bank is 100% volunteer run and managed organization, whose purpose is to overcome hunger in our community.
We were founded in February 2010 and began serving residents of Jasper County in May 2010. Currently we serve approximately 250 families per month.
The Jasper County Food bank has three primary sources of food for our clients:
1. limited amounts free from various food bank warehouses
2. In-kind food donations from local individuals, businesses, and organizations
3. Purchases made with donated dollars
